Not-For-Profit Social Media Workshop Series

Wirth Consulting is proud to present two informative workshops in the Not-For-Profit Social Media Workshop Series. Designed for not-for-profits (NFPs) and charities, these workshops will showcase specific case studies and examples based on these sectors.
NFPs should attend if they:
- Are confused by the multiple social media technologies available, and which ones to use in which situation(s)
- Are unsure of how to leverage online social networks to help build relationships and donations for their NFP
- Want to understand how to better use Facebook, and how other NFPs have used it to their advantage.
Both workshops will be running in Melbourne (28th October), Brisbane (4th November) and Sydney (11th November), and are hosted by the Director of Wirth Consulting – Bianca Wirth.
Workshop One – Online Marketing with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
This 2.5 hour workshop is a great option for management and marketing to learn how to use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter technologies to their advantage.
This workshop will include:
- An overview of social media and social networks, specifically focussing on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
- An outline of the business situations in which they might be best used
- Tips, tricks and tools for getting started
- Real-life NFP case studies
- Interactive Q&A
- Morning Tea.
Workshop Two – Facebook Hands On
This workshop will focus on taking Facebook beyond the “I have a profile” stage, to methods for engaging customers and generating new business.
This is a highly interactive workshop and each participant should bring a laptop so that they can follow along and gain assistance from the presenter during the session.
It is expected that you will already have a Facebook profile setup and understand the basic concepts of Facebook. If you are unfamiliar with Facebook, we recommend attending Workshop 1 beforehand.
The workshop will run for four hours and include lunch and afternoon tea.
This workshop will cover how to:
- Set up a Facebook Fan page for your organisation
- Configure your Facebook Privacy settings
- Customise your Facebook Fan page without a developer
- Set up advertising on Facebook
- Track and measure Fan page interaction with free tools
- Take the next step: Facebook applications overview.
