Jada Mundine, the winner of the Young Leader of the Year award, talks about the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth.
Jada highlighted the importance of community and how her community has contributed to her success in the industry. While there have been advances in understanding why community is so vital, she acknowledged that there is still a “grey area.”
The Young Leader of the Year award recipient stated that she will continue to work in the non-profit sector to dispel stereotypes and preconceived notions about what a community “should” look like.
