Circular PV Alliance (CPVA) announces that ACEN Australia has joined CPVA as an Industry Member.

This addition to CPVA’s member base highlights the increasing interest by industry stakeholders and solar energy project developers in achieving a sustainable, circular economy for the Australian solar energy sector.

“Having ACEN Australia on board as a CPVA Industry Member shows that the industry is more than ever recognising the importance of circularity in project practices and there are large-scale project developers committed to leading the way,” CPVA Co-Founder and Director Megan Jones.

“ACEN Australia’s membership with CPVA and the support for our work will expedite bringing the circular PV economy to life.”

Pollington highlighted that they currently operate one of Australia’s largest solar projects – New England Solar, which will shortly complete construction on Stubbo Solar in Central West NSW. They have recently received approval for Birriwa Solar, also in Central West NSW.

“This considerable portfolio of solar projects makes it even more important that we partner with CPVA to lead the transition to more sustainability in the PV sector,” added Pollington.

ACEN Australia joins an esteemed and growing group of organisations that want to see the Australian solar energy sector transition to a circular economy and have pledged support to CPVA.

This includes CPVA Founding Members PV Lab, Rainbow Power Company, Molekulis and Climate Capital, and reciprocal Associate Member ABRI (Association for the Battery Recycling Industry).
