Third Sector Expo 2012 is uniting the leading minds in the not-for-profit (NFP) sector in an initiative to support the sector and provide professional development opportunities for NFPs.
Sharing their wisdom and the strategy behind their success, some of Australia’s most effective NFPs will explain how all organisations can improve their advocacy, events, grant applications and governance.
Specialists will also be answering your questions throughout the exhibition and there will be ample opportunities to network and make valuable connections.
Experts include:
- Paul Villanti – Executive Director at Movember
- Meaghan Bush – Fundraising Manager at the Leukaemia Foundation
- Greg Ford – Policy Manager at the Heart Foundation (Victoria)
- Paul Grogan – Director of Advocacy at Cancer Council Australia
- Tim Sheehy – CEO at Chartered Secretaries Australia
- Nathan MacDonald –Advice Manager at Pilch Connect
- Linda Lavarch – Chair of the Not-for-Profit Sector Reform Council and Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofits Studies at QUT
“We wanted to provide this opportunity to as many people as possible,” said Third Sector Services Manager Candice de Chalain.
“Professional development can cost well in excess on $1,000 but we are providing two full days of professional development, including networking sessions and a Cocktail Party, for just $189 for NFPs and $449 for companies.”
There are limited tickets available so those interested in attending are encouraged to register now to avoid disappointment.
Third Sector Expo 2012 is supported by Platinum Sponsor Drake International, and Gold Sponsors Business Events Geelong and bankmecu.
