National not-for-profit organization Youngcare announced the appointment of the new Chief Executive Officer, Greg Johnson.
Johnson joins the team with extensive experience in the financial services sector and more recently, the not-for-profit sector as the General Manager of the AEIOU Foundation.
Youngcare Board Chair, Paul McLean said, Johnson’s roles as Board Member for Operation Smile Australia and RBWH Foundation provide the new CEO with a good alignment with the Youngcare mission,
“Youngcare works tirelessly to provide choice, independence and dignity to young people with high physical support needs; as an organization that is small in size but very large in mission, it’s vital the leading hand is passionate about making a difference.
We are extremely confident that Johnson’s experience and skills will lead the team to continue our ambitious mission,” McLean said.
Before joining the AEIOU Foundation, Greg Johnson had an extensive career in the financial services sector, holding senior executive roles with NAB and Macquarie Bank.
McLean, on behalf of the Youngcare Board, thanked Anthony Ryan for his five-year tenure as the Youngcare CEO,
“Anthony has led Youngcare through a very significant period for the disability sector. His leadership saw the growth of Youngcare’s Specialist Disability Accommodation solutions, record-breaking Grants rounds and the largest fundraising day in the organisation’s history. We thank him for his passion and commitment,” McLean said.
Greg Johnson commenced his appointment with Youngcare last 17th November 2021.
