Madison Marcus offices worldwide came together to celebrate International Women’s Day and embrace equity.
Empowering Her: Madison Marcus International Women’s Day Breakfast and Workshop #EmbraceEquity event united men and women across the firm to promote and forge a more gender-equal world, fighting the bias to embrace equality and equity.
Teams from all offices enjoyed a high tea breakfast on Wedgwood china wear and participated in a group activity promoting Lean In Circles and the power of peer support.
The event was hosted by Theresa Armstrong, Director and Managing Partner of the Parramatta office, and special guest speaker and female powerhouse Sasha Moore.
“We believe in providing an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive,” said Theresa Armstrong, Managing Partner of the Parramatta office.
Kira Zanotti, Marketing Manager and female advocate of the firm, led the Lean In Circles and workshop activities.

The event aimed to provide support to navigate change in work and personal life or help chart an inspiring and meritorious career path.
Participants shared their struggles and achievements, gave and received advice, and supported each other on issues surrounding the work and beyond.
The event also included action steps and pledges to #EmbraceEquity, amplifying the efforts and accomplishments of all women to create an equal world.
“The Empowering Her event celebrated women’s achievements and promoted gender equality in the workplace,” added Theresa.
“By addressing deliberate or unconscious biases and embracing equity, we can build a better future for all.”
