Kennards Hire in partnership with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation have answered the plea of Robinvale District Health Services’ frontline with the donation of a Connex Vital Signs Monitor valued at $6,200 for the Clinical Services & Urgent Care Centre.
The Connex Vital Signs Monitor allows accurate assessment of vital signs like temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels in the paediatric setting.
This monitor recognises deteriorating clinical conditions immediately, allowing for earlyintervention, which greatly reduces further health risks to the child. The Connex Monitor is an absolutely vital piece of equipment in the ward.
“We’ve been supporters of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation for some time now and, as a family-owned business, feel a strong connection to the incredible work they do,” said Bill Whitehouse, CEO of Kennards Hire.
“This is the second Connex Vital Signs Monitor that we’ve been able to help purchase this year and we’re really pleased that the equipment is going to Robinvale District Health Services. With what our frontline health workers have had to do over recent months with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s great to be able to give something back.”
“It is with thanks to the generosity of donors like Kennards Hire that the Humpty Dumpty Foundation can urgently respond to the pleas from the frontline and make a real difference to hospitals and healthcare services across Australia,” said Paul Francis OAM, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
“Now more than ever, hospitals and healthcare services need Humpty’s help and it is important we continue our critical work of providing essential and often life-saving medical equipment to metropolitan and regional areas in Victoria to ease the load on our frontline professionals.”
