Beard on Board at AMAG

As the Director for Sales and Marketing at A.H. Beard, Australia’s oldest bedding manufacturer, Beard brings an important level of furniture industry experience to the AMAG Board.

Beard is also the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Furniture Industry Awareness Campaign, which is a national initiative to raise the public profile of the Australian furniture and bedding industry.

Welcoming the new Board member, AMAG Chairman Robert Gerard said “The Australian furniture and bedding sector is an important part of our local manufacturing industry and the use of the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo is extensive within this particular sector. We are thrilled that the sector is now represented at Board level by someone of Allyn’s calibre.”

AMAG administers and promotes the use of the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo, which was designed in 1986 and can now be found on more than 10,000 products sold in Australia and around the world.
