Nicolas Harrison is a Barrister at Law, and a Company Director with special interests in the not for profit and charity sectors. He has a longstanding commitment to community service, having served on and chaired numerous community based Board and Committees over 45 years. As a lawyer ( and a retired NSW senior Crown Prosecutor) with over 50 years experience in the criminal jurisdiction, he has a passion for the protection of children and young people. He has seen too many people go to gaol, with their offending stemming from inappropriate detention in their formative years. He is a strong supporter of ‘Raise the Age’ and a firm believer in the benefits of early intervention and prevention.
