The Western Australia Institute of Public Administration Australia welcomes Andrew Dunkin as its new Program Development Manager.

The WA Institute of Public Administration is an independent, not-for-profit (NFP) membership body and has been the peak professional body in public administration for over 60 years.

Dunkin was previously Project Coordinator at Landgate and has five years of experience in the NFP sector.

“I am looking forward to working with Institute members and delivering topical, thought leadership events and training,” said Dunkin.

Gandel Philanthropy has announced the appointment of Vedran Drakulic as its new CEO.

Drakulic was previously General Manager of Public Affairs at RACV and was in charge of the organisation’s community partnerships, sponsorships and the RACV Community Foundation. He has also worked for Red Cross and Oxfam.

Chairman of Gandel Philanthropy John Gandel said the Board is looking forward to Drakulic joining the organisation.

Andrew Fleming has been appointed as a part-time member of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) for a three-year period.

Fleming was nominated by the Financial Services Council and is currently the Deputy Head of Australian Equities at Schroders Investment Management Australia, and has previously held positions at several investment banks, including Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
The FRC has responsibility for overseeing the effectiveness of the financial reporting framework in Australia. Members of the FRC are appointed under section 235A of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 on terms and conditions determined by the Minister.
