Research institutions, universities and other organisations for innovative health project proposals are encouraged to apply. The Foundation looks to fund initiatives from $100,000 to $500,000 for up to three years with potential outcomes of national significance and takes a partnership approach to all investments
The Foundation aims to promote:
- Health research (including research into health outcomes, health information, health policy and health financing and ageing
- Health education
- Development of programs for leading healthy lives for the broader community.
Research initiatives must be in one or more of the following areas:
- Keeping healthcare affordable
- Wellness and obesity
- Healthy ageing.
