New leader for City West Housing

City West Housing has announced the appointment of Leonie King as its new CEO, effective 13 November 2017.
City West Housing, a not-for profit organisation, is one of Australia’s leading affordable rental housing providers.
King’s executive career, in both government and non-government organisations, has had a significant focus on social and affordable housing and she brings strong strategic and commercial acumen and a well-developed social policy background to the role.
Prior to joining City West, King was Deputy CEO at Evolve Housing and led strategy and social investment, marketing and communications and Information Technology. Before joining the not for profit sector, King held Executive Director roles in Government in the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) where she was responsible for the devolution of community care, specialist disability services and social housing to the non-government sectors.
