National NAIDOC Week is celebrated during the first week of July across the nation to recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The week long celebration is about honouring and celebrating each other and also reminds the community that through grief and through trauma, there is still space to have moments of joy.
With the theme “For Our Elders”, NAIDOC recognizes the important roles the previous generation plays for the current forecoming generations.
The National NAIDOC Week Awards is about the people that are really understanding their communities and working to create positive impact.

Nominations for 2023 National NAIDOC Week Award close on Friday 3 March at 8pm (AEDT).
