Howe, appointed as CEO of the Council of Social Service NSW, was previously the CEO at Domestic Violence NSW (DV NSW) which is the peak body representing specialist domestic violence services across NSW.
In her time at DV NSW, Howe was the driving force in organisation’s change, which put the peak body in a stronger position to advocate for its cause.
Howe is also a board member of the NSW Government’s Domestic and Family Violence Council and the Premier’s Council on Homelessness, and she is the NSW non-government representative on National Plan Implementation Panel for the Australian Government’s National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children 2010 to 2022.
Howe steps into her new role as CEO of the Council of Social Service NSW on 30 June.
