Talbert, a former Director and Chair at The Housing Connection (THC) has been appointed as Acting CEO. Having had a long association with the organisation, Talbert brings to the role legal and financial expertise along with personal experience working with the aged and disabled. He believes THC provides a strong platform to successfully implement and adopt the NDIS program.
Pathology Australia welcomes leading Australian health influencer as CEO. Wett’s previous role as CEO of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) saw her lead the organisation through a period of growth and consolidation which lead the PSA to become recognised as a significant voice in pharmacy. Under her leadership PSA’s membership base grew from 11,000 to over 18,000.
“My leadership of PSA has been both rewarding and challenging and watching how membership has grown and how the role of pharmacists as clinicians has become more broadly recognised have been very satisfying.
“I have greatly enjoyed my time at PSA and thank the board, the membership and the staff for all the support they have shown me,” says Wett.
Taking on the newly created role of Strategic Communications Manager at The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB), Fuller has extensive experience in marketing, communications and advocacy in the United States, Europe and Australia.
“I am very pleased to welcome Mike to the AACB team. He is joining the organisation at a very important and exciting time. The Business Events industry is a key sector of the visitor economy and a major contributor to the broader economic prosperity of Australia. Mike’s communications and advocacy experience will play an important role to help further AACB goals as the peak Business Events network in Australia,” says AACB President Lyn Lewis-Smith.
