Director, Industry Policy and Advocacy

Consistently over the last 35 years, AusBiotech has provided representation and specialised services to its substantial membership, leading the global growth of Australian biotechnology. Its constituents span therapeutics, medical technology (devices and diagnostics), digital health and agriculture.

In this new role, you will work closely with the CEO, management team, committees, government and members to develop and align the overall policy and advocacy goals articulated in the organisation’s Strategic Plan. Stakeholder engagement, policy experience and communications are crucial success factors.

Based on qualifications in public policy or a related discipline such as macro-economics or communications, you are an experienced campaigner with an innovative approach to advocacy and relationship building. Your knowledge of government, politics and media has enabled you to shape policy in a sophisticated member-driven setting.
