Cosmetic range helps women in safe houses

Two Good Co recently partnered with I Quit Sugar’s Sarah Wilson and Nourished Life, a natural haircare and skincare range.

The company released the new Two Good Care product range to support women in domestic violence safe houses around Australia.

“There are thousands of women living in safe houses around Australia who have endured years of abuse, violence and hardship, and their sense of self-worth is at an all-time low,” Two Good Co founder Rob Caslick said.

“We’re asking everyone to ‘love another mother’ this Mother’s Day by giving the gift of a beautiful Two Good Care pack. It’s a simple but meaningful way to remind women in safe houses that they are valued and that the community stands with them.”

Coinciding with Mother’s Day, the Sydney social enterprise plans to deliver 2,000 Two Good Care packs to women’s shelters and service providers in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA. They are asking the community to #loveanothermother.

Made in Australia using 100 per cent natural products and essential oils, the range is completely free of sulphates and parabens and packaged in 100 per cent recycled plastic bottles. For every Two Good Care pack sold, one will be given to a woman living in a safe house.

Last year, Two Good Co delivered 570 care packs across NSW. This year they aim to scale the campaign across the country. The product line was created with the support of health and wellness author Wilson and is endorsed by Two Good Care ambassador and actress Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby and The Night Manager).

“The Two Good Care campaign is a beautiful, simple and honest initiative that has the capacity to touch the lives of many women and children who are seeking refuge from domestic violence and abuse,” Debicki said.

“Powerful gifts often come in small packages and these thoughtful products are not only lovely to use, but are also made of wholesome, natural ingredients. They allow us to take a small moment to care for ourselves with kindness and gratitude, knowing someone else is receiving the same.”

Launched in Sydney by co-founders Rob Caslick and Cathal Flaherty in June 2015, Two Good Co is a buy-one, give-one company supporting women in domestic violence shelters and safe houses in Australia.
