Calling all VIC and QLD based community focused NFPs

This program offers community focused not-for-profits a chance to rejuvenate tired community centres with a fresh lick of paint, a colourful mural or some landscaping. Optus RockCorps recruits volunteers and provides supervision, materials and tools to conduct the project.
RockCorps uses the power of music to engage, empower and celebrate youth. Launching for the first time last year in Australia in partnership with Optus, RockCorps offers young people a music reward in exchange for ‘giving back’ four hours of volunteer work at a local community organisation or charity.
Last summer Optus RockCorps worked with over 5,000 volunteers at more than 65 community centres, and provided over 20,000 hours of community service to refresh Australian community centres.
Optus RockCorps projects will take place in Melbourne and Brisbane during March and April this year.
