Two bushfire charity tins have been stolen from the counter of a business south of Wollongong, prompting a police investigation.
The charity tins, which were collecting funds for the NSW Rural Fire Service, were on Tuesday morning stolen from the Albion Park Rail business’ counter.
The culprit allegedly fled the business on foot. A glass door was smashed at the rear of the property during the incident.
Police are looking for a man wearing an aqua hooded jumper, blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes around the time of the theft.
