Australian charities collaborate for charity auction

Australian charities Create Impact and Human and Hope have joined together to launch an online auction that raises funds for community development programs in Ethiopia and Cambodia.
These programs include education, vocational training, agriculture, safe water and healthcare.
“Although our organisations are working in two very different parts of the world, our approach and our goals are the same – empowering communities to reduce inequalities,“ said Create Impact’s Managing Director, Georgina Fenton.
Both Create Impact and Human and Hope have supported communities through COVID-19 through food production, hygiene outreach and the distribution of soap and face masks.
The items and services up for auction have been generously donated by local Australian businesses, who despite doing it tough during the pandemic, are committed to helping those in Ethiopia and Cambodia who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access the support they need.
“To reduce inequalities, no one person or charity can do it alone, collaboration is essential. It’s when we work together that we can achieve the greatest impact,” Fenton finished.
