Property Industry Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of industry heavyweight Salvatore Guardala to its Board of Advisors.

CEO of Lancini Property Group and Laurence Lancini Constructions, Guardala brings with him more than 17 years of industry experience and knowledge to support the Property Industry Foundation in building homes for homeless young Australians.

Guardala said he joins the Property Industry Foundation being already familiar with the team and culture after having affiliations for many years and is excited about the opportunity this position allows him to make through meaningful contributions such as his time along with utilising his industry ties.

“The Property Industry Foundation is an opportunity to make a small change that leads to a bigger change. To help homelessness and domestic violence is a generational shift, which if we get it right now the future solution is more prosperous,” Guardala said.

“Some of my greatest achievements have been made possible by working with individuals who have supported me every day. Without the power of people, I would not be where I am today, so I want to pay this forward and loan my support to young Queenslanders who truly need it.

“I’m proud to be a part of the exceptional work the Property Foundation does and look forward to bringing vast property and development sector relationships to my position on the Board.”

Property Industry Foundation Queensland Chairman Greg Clarke said he was thrilled for Guardala’s appointment, who he believes is a perfect fit as a proactive industry partner with a strong passion for empowering young people to improve their lives.

“The Foundation has always perfectly positioned itself to make a real difference in the lives of Queenslanders and together with the support of Salvatore, our abilities will only be strengthened,” said Clarke.

“With continued support from our incredible Board of Advisors and the greater Queensland property community, we will deliver more on the ground – more facilities for homeless young people, more upgrades to ageing stock and fundamentally, more bedrooms to house our homeless.

“We’ve been focusing a lot of our energy on planning for our major construction projects through The Haven Project, and the funds raised will help make these projects a reality.”

Aiming to increase the availability of accommodation for youth homelessness, the Foundation have distributed nearly $30 million to youth homelessness causes over 25 years.
