Newly announced Graduate Certificate in Social Impact

International research forecasts a high demand for graduates with a socially responsible business focus, as the not-for-profit sector moves to innovative business ideas and as business looks to have more social impact. The Centre for Social Impact (CSI) is now meeting this demand to teach socially responsible management to those who will lead in the not-for-profit, government or corporate sectors or as social investors.

The Graduate Certificate in Social Impact focuses on building the professional capacity of managers and entrepreneurs of the future, across all sectors. This program is aimed at the new generation of leaders seeking to enhance their capacity to lead organisations creating social and environmental value, and to operate in a changed cross-sector social landscape.

The Graduate Certificate is designed to be completed in a minimum of one year and consists of four courses. It will be delivered in both Sydney (at UNSW) and Melbourne (at Melbourne Business School, The University of Melbourne, and Swinburne University of Technology). The course will commence in semester one, 2010. Students can undertake the full Graduate Certificate or take one course as a part of another degree or as a stand-alone course.
