Randall Pearce has been co-opted to the board of directors of the Australasian Society of Association Executives for a two year term.

Pearce has seventeen years of experience as an association executive including serving as a Vice President of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and as the founding CEO of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.

Peter Walton has been announced as the CEO of Infoxchange, which works to create social equality and opportunity by empowering people through access to information technology.

Walton’s experience includes Director of Programs at Save the Children, where he oversaw $35 million of projects, and was manager of social and economic development operations in Mekong, Vietnam for Child Fund Australia.

During his time in Vietnam, Walton was awarded the Vietnam Government’s Medal for Peace and Friendship, the highest award offered to foreigners, for services toward social development and poverty alleviation.

Walton replaces Infoxchange founder Andrew Mahar, who steps down from an operational role this month.

Third Sector wishes Pearce and Walton well in his new roles.
