NAWIC talks to tomorrow’s leaders about women in industry

The event consisted of a panel of construction industry representatives who spoke about their experiences in the field.

The event aims to encourage school leavers, university students and careers teachers to interact with women working in the building and construction industry. The series is part of NAWIC’s strategy to motivate young people to become part of the building and construction industry.

AIPM’s Women in Project Management (WiPM) initiative and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) share the common goals of understanding what women want from their careers and encouraging women into the industry, who may not be aware of all the different career opportunities it holds.

The NAWIC is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 1995 whose mission is to promote and improve the construction industry by the advancement of women within it.
