Robin Penty has been appointed as Head of Development, Marketing and Communications at the Australian Drug Foundation.

Penty has worked within the not-for-profit (NFP), arts, education and tertiary sectors for more than two decades. Prior to taking her new role at the Australian Drug Foundation she held the role of National Manager, Strategic Partnerships at The Smith Family.

Australian Drug Foundation’s CEO John Rogerson said he is looking forward to Penty’s creativity and analytical contribution to the future of the Australian Drug Foundation and helping to change Australia’s drinking culture.

“Robin brings with her a wide breadth of experience and skills,” says Rogerson.

“I’m looking forward to working with Robin as she leads some exciting big projects around development of our brand, future partnerships and strategic direction.”

Kalparrin Early Childhood Intervention Service (ECIS) has appointed Mark Baigent as its new CEO.

Baigent has over 20 years’ experience working in senior-level management roles within professional services and the not-for-profit sector. He has held previous roles ay Gymnastics Queensland, the Australian Paralympic Committee and Spina Bifida Association of Queensland to name a few. Baigent is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Australian Institute of Business.

The Executive Connection (TEC) welcomes Stephanie Christopher as its CEO.

Christopher is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years’ experience in the corporate sector and also holds an MBA from Deakin University which positions her well to lead TEC.

Prior to joining TEC, Christopher was Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand for CEB SHL Talent Measurement, the largest global talent management and workplace consulting organisation.

TEC Chairman Nigel Stoke sites Christopher’s experience in building talent within orgaisations as critical to TEC and its network.

“I firmly believe the key to success for any organisation is a true understanding of the talent needed to achieve its objectives,” says Christopher.

“A true leader can identify, engage and develop talent at an individual and organisational level while ensuring that there is a balance between developing and sharing a vision, and the execution to achieve it.”
