Diabetes Australia‘s new CEO, Johnson, has almost 10 years’ experience with the organisation after starting as CEO of Diabetes Australia – Victoria in 2003. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University, Chair of Physical Activity Australia, Chair of the Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance and a member of the Federal Ministerial Diabetes Advisory Group.

Halliday has been appointed CEO of the CPA Australia Queensland Corporates Committee after more than six years as a committee member. Halliday has a comprehensive background in risk advisory and information management.

Age care provider Amana Living‘s newest board member, Lawrence, is currently Executive Director of Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park hospitals. Previously she was Executive Director of Innovation and Health System Reform within the Western Australia’s (WA) Department of Health.

McLaughlin is Netball Queensland‘s new Vice President. She is the former Mayor of the Burdekin Shire Council and currently holds positions on a number of community Boards in North Queensland including as Chair of Queensland Local Government Grants Commission and Deputy Chair of Regional Development Australia.
