O’Connor said “I encourage community organisations and local government to apply for funding for programs and events that give Tasmanians the opportunity to participate in the social, economic, political and cultural life of their community.”
“Through this grant program, community organisations will be able to run projects that address social isolation and participate in significant community events and celebrations.”
