Ms Kent conducted interviews with Gillard and Gillard’s networks to write the first complete biography of the then-Deputy Prime Minister.
At the Third Sector Women’s Leadership Seminar, Ms Kent will be speaking about the significance of Gillard’s appointment for female leadership aspirations.
Ms Kent also won the 2002 National Biography Award for her first book, A Certain Style, and her recent book An Exacting Heart was shortlisted for the 2008 The Age Non-fiction Book of the Year Award.

The Third Sector Women’s Leadership Seminar is an event for anyone interested in women’s leadership development and leadership in the third sector more generally.
