Business Events Victoria (BEV) operates as a collective group of conference venues, accommodation providers, tour operators, local councils, regional tourism organisations and service providers that have identified the need for a co-ordinated and co-operative industry approach to the marketing and promotion of business events for regional Victoria.

Prior to the Victorian State election, BEV was announced as the recipient of funding earmarked to highlight Regional Victoria
as a premium conference destination.
$1 million will be dedicated to the industry over the next four year period, providing an unprecedented focus on driving business events into Regional Victoria.

BEV is currently working with Tourism Victoria to establish a sales and marketing team to promote regional venues throughout the state. This team will be able to facilitate and support enquiries from event organisers who book any form of meetings, conferences or events, and offer a superb opportunity to revitalise your meetings and add that unique difference that will make your event memorable to delegates.

The new sales and marketing team at BEV provides a great resource for meeting planners. The team represents all Victorian venues and destinations, has a thorough understanding of Victoria’s ten magnificent regions and can offer an unbiased opinion for your next event, depending on your meeting requirements.

BEV can assist you with key contacts at venues, destinations, AV companies, transport providers, hire companies, high scale logistics and team building activities – all offering premium service and uncompromising quality.

Regional Victoria excels in quality venues in diverse surroundings and has something to cater for all tastes and budgets. Victoria’s compact size and excellent infrastructure means easy access. The state has superb highways that make travel fast and simple and there are regular flights to many of the regional cities including Mildura, Albury-Wodonga and Avalon (15 minutes from Geelong).
