About Fundraising Institute Australia
Fundraising Institute Australia is the largest representative body for the $11.8 billion fundraising sector. Members include charities and other fundraising not-for-profits and fundraising professionals, as well suppliers that provide services to them. FIA advocates for the interests of the sector, administers a self-regulatory Code, educates fundraising practitioners, promotes research and creates forums for the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Fundraising Institute Australia’s mission is to advance ethical, professional, best-practice fundraising and to promote the fundraising sector and protect its interests. Advocacy to government at all levels and to stakeholders and the broader community is part of our mission.
As we continue to work with federal and state government Ministers, Shadow Ministers and back benchers to achieve further harmonisation for the charity sector, we have also considered other reforms that we believe are urgently needed to assist members and the broader fundraising sector.
