ACOSS is calling for contributions from not-for-profit or non-government organisations providing services directly to the public.
The questions are designed to gain an insight into the key issues facing service providers, including workforce matters, levels of funding, and areas of growing or unmet service demand.
ACOSS highlighted the importance of the report, saying that it is vital that it receives a high response rate in order to provide an accurate and comprehensive snapshot of issues from the community sector.
Reports from previous annual surveys have informed community sector advocacy at both state and territory levels. Findings have supported campaigns to improve levels of pay within the sector, and to highlight key sector issues such as inadequacies in levels of funding.
The survey will close on 3 December.
