The community presentation program will see the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) travel to all capital cities as well as Alice Springs, Lismore, Shepparton, Townsville, Launceston and Bunbury in late January and early February 2013.

These face-to-face sessions will provide an introduction to the ACNC, as well as the opportunity to participate in two relevant consultations: the ACNC’s regulatory approach consultation and the Federal Government’s consultation on governance standards.

Through this consultation, the ACNC hopes to begin a conversation with the not-for-profit sector on the role and work of the Commission and to promote awareness of the general approach to regulation.
