The grants are aimed at supporting the delivery of small scale programs that can be completed within twelve months.
The maximum amount that can be applied for is $40,000. It is envisaged to be a one-off grant for a defined purpose.
The grants are allocated towards eight areas:
- Arts and culture
- Education
- Health and medical research
- Community development
- Social cohesion and inclusion
- Poverty and disadvantage
- Environment
- Emergency response and recovery.
Not-for-profit organisations wanting to apply must have a deductible-gift recipient status covered under Item 1 of the Tax Act.
