Pandora jewellery has announced a new charitable initiative, enabling Pandora’s online customers to make donations to selected Australian charities with every purchase.
On behalf of all customers who purchase from the official Pandora online store, the jewellery company will make a $1 donation to one of three Australian-based charitable projects themed around women’s health, empowerment and equality.
“Pandora is passionate about supporting causes which improve the lives of women and children in Australia and around the world. We’re proud to expand our commitment and make a positive impact with this initiative,” said Mikael Kruse Jensen, Managing Director.
After checkout at Pandora’s online store, customers are invited to choose which of the three projects they wish to support, with the option to make an additional donation of their own. If a customer does not specify a chosen charity, Pandora will still make a $1 donation to one of the charities, selected at random.
The platform, hosted by i=Change, allows customers to see their donation in real-time and to track how much Pandora has raised, with 100 per cent of the donations going to the charities.
In 2017, Pandora was named the ‘most trusted jewellery brand in Australia’ by Reader’s Digest.
