The report, released on 30 June also states that during 2012-13 Australian not-for-profits (NFP) generated nearly $110 million in income. The majority of this income was received from the government which differed from the 2006-07 results which saw households as the primary revenue source.

According to the findings labour costs accounted for the main allocation of NFP income with the second being purchases of goods and services.
