Kitch has held various executive positions within health, disability and aged care services, including as CEO of scosa, and Residential Services Manager at Helping Hand Aged Care. For eight years she ran her own consulting business, providing strategic advice to disability and aged care providers throughout Australia. Kitch is a current board member of L’Arche Australia.
In her role at The Benevolent Society, Kitch will lead the delivery and expansion of its Child and Family and Disability services in South Australia.
“Josie’s extensive senior leadership experience across the disability and aged care sectors will be a real asset to The Benevolent Society’s South Australia operations,” said Anna Robinson, Executive Director of Disability, The Benevolent Society.
“She is committed to growing our services in Adelaide and regional South Australia, building on our successful launch in Port Pirie and Mount Gambier over the past year. I am very pleased to have her on board and am confident she will make an invaluable contribution in this role,” she said.
Speaking about her new role, Kitch said: “The Benevolent Society is a well-respected organisation that is committed to helping people live their best life, which is a mission I am excited to be a part of. I look forward to growing our Disability and Child and Family services to support South Australian families, particularly those in regional areas where accessing support can often be difficult.”
