The Wayside Chapel launches social enterprise apartments through Airbnb
Share
People holidaying in Bondi will now have the opportunity to support the homeless with The Wayside Chapel launching their first ever serviced holiday apartments in October. This is Wayside’s newest social enterprise, and funds from renting the new apartments will be directed straight back into Wayside’s programs and services – to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
The apartments have enjoyed a modern renovation and complete redecoration by interior stylist Jason Grant. Grant has recently come on board as The Wayside Chapel’s new Ambassador and has designed the apartments in his iconic, relaxed beachside style. Both apartments feature high-end Fisher & Paykel appliances in the kitchen and laundry, modern furniture by Cult, and designer Di Lorenzo tiles throughout.
The Wayside Chapel has recently expanded to Bondi Beach with our Community Services Centre at Norman Andrews House, and the funds from these apartments will allow more vulnerable people in the area to access essential health, recreational and welfare services. In peak periods the apartments will raise over $6,000 for The Wayside Chapel.
The apartments will rent for between $300 and $550 per night depending on the season. Each apartment sleeps four people.
